Advertising & Partnerships
Advertising funds independent journalism at The American Brief — under rules that keep it visibly separate from the news.
How Advertising Appears
- Ad placements on this site are reserved containers clearly labeled "Advertisement," positioned between content sections, within articles after substantial text, and at the end of articles.
- Ads never cover headlines, navigation or article controls, and never imitate editorial content.
- Sponsored content, when published, is labeled "Sponsored" and produced outside the newsroom. See Editorial Independence.
Google AdSense Readiness
This site is built to Google AdSense program standards: original content, clear navigation, complete policy pages and labeled placements. Advertising scripts are integrated only after an AdSense account is approved, using the publisher ID issued for this publication — never a placeholder. Technical readiness does not guarantee approval; Google makes its own eligibility decisions.
ads.txt
When an AdSense publisher ID is issued for The American Brief, an ads.txt file declaring Google as an authorized seller will be published at the root of this site (theamericanbrief.news/ads.txt) in the standard format, and this page will be updated. No ads.txt file exists before a real publisher ID is issued, because a fabricated entry would misrepresent our authorized sellers.
Partnerships
We consider sponsorships of newsletters and sections, and direct campaigns from brands whose products are legal and whose creative respects our readers. Partnership inquiries route through the Contact page until our advertising desk inbox opens.
